Description

Even if wrangling canines for a living wasn’t part of the plan when Lemon graduated with her Communications degree, she knows she’s stepped into a fair bit of luck. When her parents move to Belize with their widowed best friend, they leave her a highly valuable apartment in San Francisco and the dog-walking business complete with a high-end clientele.

So Lemon doesn’t mind being at the end of the end of a jumble of leashes as she tromps through the tree-lined peace of the Presidio, until one of her charges—Milo the Bassett Hound—finds a disembodied human foot. As the police swarm and the foot’s owner is revealed to be one of her clients, Lemon starts to regret having taken on the business.
