Traditional Publishing

In traditional publishing, the author submits a completed manuscript to a publisher for potential publication. If the publisher accepts the manuscript, the publisher will pay for all production costs for the book and sign a contract with the author regarding royalties and/or advance payments.

In traditional publishing, there is no cost to the author. If the publisher requests costs up front, that is considered Vanity Publishing. Flashpoint Publications is not a Vanity Publisher.

If you are interested in submitting a manuscript, please see our submissions guidelines here: submissions.
